Ricardo Gutiérrez Muñoz
- Mr. Ricardo Maldonado Yáñez is a partner at the law firm Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes, S.C. He has over 25 years of experience providing advice to Mexican and foreign companies on domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. Has been a member of our Board of Directors since April 2016.
- He also represents issuers and financial institutions in public and private debt and equity offerings, and advises clients in the negotiation, structuring and drafting of all types of financings and in infrastructure projects. Mr. Maldonado also focuses part of his practice to Corporate Governance matters advising family-owned and publicly listed companies.
- Mr. Maldonado serves as member of the Board of Directors at Controladora Vuela Compañía de Aviación (Volaris) and ICA Tenedora.
- Mr. Maldonado holds a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and an LLM from the University of Chicago Law School. He is also a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN).
