OMA CARGA

We have attached the detailed release process: Procedure for Cargo Import and/or Export Release.
Appointment hours are from 8:00 to 19:00 hrs.
The estimated response time is 20 to 30 minutes, with a maximum of approximately 1 hour.
You can request this information by sending an email to laura.gamez@oma.aero. Please include the short guide number in your request.
You can find information about merch, including arrival date, weight, number of packages, and assigned warehouse, through our Contact List OMA Carga
Through our online quotation tool, you can enter your operation details to obtain an estimated cost. The final amount is reflected on the departure slip.
To request a visit, please send an email to laura.gamez@oma.aero
A miscellaneous charge is a fee generated for services outside the standard operation. It may apply in cases such as late submission of documentation, failure to comply with an appointment schedule, or additional services such as strapping, wrapping, and pallets.
A previo is an inspection conducted by the customs broker on the merchandise to verify that everything is in order before the cargo leaves the customs facility.
There are two ways to request a previo.
At Warehouse 158, the process is conducted in person. The customs representative or customs broker must go to the service counter and complete the physical previo request form.
At Warehouse 260, the request is submitted by email through the corresponding mailbox.
For both types of requests, the MAWB and HAWB numbers are required.
Once the request has been confirmed, the estimated time for the cargo to be located and positioned is 1 hour. If this time has elapsed, please contact the warehouse’s previo coordinator.
To carry out a transfer between OMA Carga warehouses, it is only necessary to send a request via email. Once internally approved, the operation proceeds. When the transfer involves a warehouse outside of OMA Carga, the request must be submitted along with the relevant documentation. The estimated timeframe depends on the external warehouse's response time.
Cargo reconciliation is the process of receiving cargo between airlines, carriers, and OMA Carga. Processing times depend on the arrival and operation of each airline or carrier.
During this process, the condition of the merchandise is verified, the received cargo is checked against the manifested information, and any discrepancies are identified.
For imports, there are 60 calendar days, and for exports, 90 calendar days, before the cargo is reported to the authorities as abandoned.
At OMA Carga, we notify the authorities of cargo that has reached abandonment status on the first day of the following month.
If the cargo has not yet been reported as abandoned to the authorities, it may still be released directly through OMA Carga under Rule 2.2.9 of the Foreign Trade General Rules. No appointment is required for release from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, by contacting the warehouse’s foreign trade analyst.
Once the cargo has been reported to the authorities, it may be released under Rule 2.2.5 of the Foreign Trade General Rules. This process must be completed directly with ANAM. No appointment is required for release from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
