OMA's 13 airports have been certified for environmental compliance based on the measures we've taken to improve the quality of water, air, soil, and subsoil; the handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste; energy use; and our training programs.The annual environmental re-certification and action plan for each airport ensures continuity of initiatives and continuous improvement.
OMA will continue to establish an harmonious balance with the environment, in the different circumstances in which we operate, based on a strong environmental culture.
Environmental Compliance Certification
The Environmental Compliance Certification awarded by PROFEPA (the Federal Environmental Protection Agency) has the following components:
